In Living Color - Hair Painting Seminar Makes a Splash With Stylists Across the States
These passionate stylists came together to practice modern hair painting trends and techniques.
April 24-25, 2022 @ ARROJO Academy. A group of ten passionate stylists came together for our popular and influential hair painting seminar.
Over the two days the class practiced heavier and lighter saturations for varying effects; painting from narrow to wide for natural-looking high and low lights; and using the peaks and valleys of the hairline as a guide.

“Hair painting is fashionable and desirable because it doesn’t leave strong lines of demarcation or re-growth, so it can last all summer long,” says day one lead educator, Lucie Letz.
Attendees also learned painting in horizontal, diagonal, and zig-zag sections, with each technique having its own custom benefits.
“Hair painting can create effects ranging from soft and natural to bold and creative. During the two days, the group mastered a range of salon-friendly hair painting techniques,” says day two lead educator, Alyx VanDeWalle.
